Karen Porter-Wolf is a highly accomplished technology executive with over 24 years of experience leading transformative initiatives in information technology, global operations, and strategic planning. As the former Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Assurant, Karen was instrumental in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions across 27 countries and five lines of business, including International, Extended Protection Services, Diversified Financial Services, and Connected Living Products.

Throughout her career, Karen has excelled in managing complex technology transformations, implementing new technology within legacy systems, and leading both strategic and operational planning efforts. Her global experience includes serving as Managing Director of Insurance Operations in Ireland and Interim Managing Director in Mexico, where she successfully navigated diverse regulatory environments and led large-scale organizational initiatives.

Karen’s leadership also extended to talent development and vendor management, where she focused on assessing and cultivating talent to meet business objectives. Her proven track record in managing multi-functional teams and delivering successful technology implementations across a range of industries has earned her a reputation as a forward-thinking leader in the field.
